Powering Talent: MILSET Asia Launches Training for Kuwait’s Electrical Competition

MILSET Asia, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, recently held a two-day preparatory meeting for trainers from 42 middle schools participating in the 13th Annual Kuwait School Electrical Installations Competition.

The meeting provided a thorough introduction to the competition’s objectives and the project framework designed for student participants. Trainers received detailed guidance on electrical materials, home distribution boards, tools, measurement devices, and, importantly, electrical safety.

In addition to technical instruction, the programme highlighted the vital role of teachers in supervising students during practical exercises in advance of the competition. This approach ensures that young participants not only gain technical knowledge but also develop the confidence to apply their skills effectively.

The sessions also addressed organisational matters, offering clarity on judging criteria, registration procedures, and award structures. Teachers expressed strong enthusiasm for the initiative and welcomed the opportunity to have their questions answered directly.

By equipping educators with both technical expertise and supervisory skills, MILSET Asia and the Ministry of Education reaffirm their commitment to advancing STEM education.
