Observatoire Midi-Pyrénées (OMP)

The Observatoire Midi-Pyrénées (OMP) is one of France’s leading research observatories, internationally recognized for its excellence in Earth sciences, space sciences, and environmental research. Based in Toulouse, OMP operates under the umbrella of the Université Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier and brings together high-level laboratories, researchers, engineers, and academic experts dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and innovation.

OMP plays a strategic role within the French and European research landscape, contributing to major scientific programs in astronomy, astrophysics, climate science, geosciences, and planetary exploration. Its strong connection with national research institutions and international scientific networks positions it as a hub for interdisciplinary collaboration and scientific excellence.

Since March 27, 2023, OMP has also become the official international legal seat of MILSET. This historic step not only formalized MILSET’s legal presence in France but also symbolically anchored the organization within one of the world’s most respected scientific environments. Hosting MILSET at OMP reflects a shared commitment to advancing science education, empowering youth in STEAM, and strengthening global collaboration between research institutions and the next generation of innovators.

UPAEP

The growth and development of MILSET along more than 30 years couldn't be possible without the support of MILSET main Partners, an institution that shares the same values and philosophy, the Popular Autonomous University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP) in Mexico.

MILSET Headquarters are located inside UPAEP's campus since 2007. From this location, MILSET has been able to organise international programmes that have impacted thousands of young people from all over the world.

The Popular Autonomous University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP) is a private Mexican higher education institution of Catholic identity, founded by a community of university students and professors, which arises from the support of broad sectors of Puebla society, constituting itself as an authentic model of social solidarity.
