Kuwait – 12 October 2026

The MILSET Asia Office in Kuwait honoured Dr Saif Mohammed Obaid Al Moaili, Director of the Fujairah Science Club, with a plaque of appreciation bearing the name of Professor Dr Abdullah Mohammed Al Mutawa, President of the Office. This distinction recognised his outstanding contribution to developing youth skills and fostering innovation, coinciding with his visit to Kuwait and the Office’s headquarters.

The plaque conveyed gratitude to Dr Al Moaili and welcomed his visit, which included discussions on prospects for scientific cooperation with the Fujairah Science Club, aimed at strengthening ties and exchanging expertise.

To mark the occasion, the Office hosted a luncheon in his honour, attended by His Excellency Dawood Suleiman Al Hamad, Regional Director of the Office, alongside staff members and researchers. The gathering reflected the spirit of mutual respect and collaboration between the two sides.

The visit also featured an introductory tour of the Office’s programmes, activities and future plans, as well as exchanges on cooperation in scientific initiatives and student camps. Both parties explored the possibility of the Fujairah Science Club hosting the Asian Scientific Leaders Forum and its accompanying exhibition in Fujairah during 2027–2028.

Dr Al Moaili expressed his gratitude to the Office’s President, Regional Director and staff for the recognition, warm welcome and generous hospitality. He reaffirmed his appreciation for this scientific partnership and his aspiration to expand cooperation, creating broader opportunities for young people to learn, share expertise and strengthen their capacity for innovation.
