Global Connections Spark at IRSchool 2026
YAKUTSK, Russia — The 16th International Research School (IRSchool), organised by MILSET Vostok from 30 June to 9 July at the Sakha Junior Academy of Sciences, concluded with more than scientific achievements — it created a vibrant international community united by curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for discovery.
One of the defining features of this year’s programme was the dynamic intellectual environment that emerged throughout the event. Project presentations evolved into lively scientific discussions, bringing together students and invited experts in meaningful exchanges of ideas. Many experts praised the quality of the debates, noting that the conversations were as inspiring as the research outcomes themselves.
Beyond laboratories and fieldwork, participants built lasting professional networks and friendships that crossed borders and disciplines. The School provided a unique platform for young researchers to share perspectives, develop teamwork skills, and connect with peers who share their enthusiasm for science and innovation.
The atmosphere of curiosity and cooperation that filled the Junior Academy of Sciences reflected the core mission of MILSET Vostok: empowering young people through international scientific collaboration. As participants returned to their home countries, they carried with them not only new knowledge but also valuable connections and renewed motivation for their future academic and professional journeys.
MILSET Vostok expressed its sincere appreciation to all participants, experts, and partners whose commitment and support contributed to the success of this memorable edition of the International Research School.
