The Thailand International Science, Invention and Innovation Fair (TISIIF) 2026 brought together young students and innovators through an international platform dedicated to science, invention, creativity and the exchange of ideas.

Organised by the Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA), a member organisation of MILSET, together with Next Generation Knowledge (NGK), TISIIF 2026 was held in a hybrid format. The online competition took place from 21 to 24 July 2026, followed by the in-person programme from 30 July to 2 August 2026 in Pathum Thani, Thailand.

The event welcomed 207 teams, reflecting the strong interest of young people in presenting their scientific and technological ideas and connecting with an international community of innovators.

TISIIF provided opportunities for students at elementary, secondary and university levels to present projects across a wide range of scientific fields, including Mathematics; Physics, Energy and Engineering; IoT and its Applications; Environment, Agriculture and Food Science; Education and Social Sciences; Life Sciences; Biotechnology and Biosensor Technology, as well as a special TISIIF Next Gen Idea Pitching Competition on Innovation Science.

Through these different areas, participants had the opportunity to transform knowledge into ideas and practical solutions while strengthening creativity, scientific thinking, problem-solving skills and international collaboration.

Beyond the competition itself, TISIIF provided a space for young people from different backgrounds to share experiences, discover new perspectives and build connections through science and innovation, demonstrating the important role that international scientific events can play in inspiring the next generation.

MILSET congratulates the Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA) and Next Generation Knowledge (NGK) on the successful organisation of TISIIF 2026. Special recognition goes to Mr. Deni Irawan for his coordination and commitment, as well as to the entire organising team and volunteers whose dedication made this international experience possible.

Initiatives such as TISIIF demonstrate the importance of creating spaces where young people can present their ideas, learn from one another and connect through science beyond geographical and cultural boundaries.

MILSET is proud to recognise the achievements of its member organisations and their continued commitment to empowering young people through science, technology and innovation, while strengthening opportunities for international cooperation and exchange.
