The International Movement for Leisure Activities in Science and Technology for Latin America, MILSET AMLAT, has introduced its Regional Coordinations—working teams designed to drive and strengthen the development of its scientific outreach activities across the region.

MILSET AMLAT is part of a global network dedicated to promoting scientific culture among young people through science fairs, educational programmes, and technology outreach initiatives.

The new coordinations bring together educational leaders and specialists from several Latin American countries who will work collaboratively to expand the impact of initiatives aimed at students, teachers, and educational institutions.

The Teacher Training Coordination, led by Maria das Graças França Sales (Brazil), focuses on preparing educators and developing educational programmes that strengthen mentoring for young researchers. Collaborating leaders include Miriam Hernández (Argentina), Laura Pantalón (Venezuela), and Abitzel Guillén (Panama).

The International Relations Coordination, headed by Ma. Nilda Martínez (Paraguay), will focus on strengthening global cooperation and international networking. The team includes Blanca Morinigo (Paraguay), Natasha Kasprzyk (Paraguay), Luis Vargas (Ecuador), and Daniel Carvajal (Colombia).

The Communication Coordination, led by Victoria Rubina Soto (Chile), will be responsible for content creation and social media management, highlighting the impact of scientific and technological outreach activities. Melissa Martínez (Mexico) participates as a collaborating leader.

Finally, the MILSET AMLAT Event Quality Management Coordination, led by Mateus Dedê (Brazil), will oversee the planning, monitoring, and improvement of the quality of regional events and scientific outreach activities according to MILSET standards. The team includes José Rojo (Chile), Montserrat Ramírez (Mexico), and José Alberto Tenorio (Mexico).

Through these regional coordinations, MILSET AMLAT reinforces its commitment to strengthening collaboration among countries, promoting science education, and expanding the impact of its programmes throughout Latin America.
