IFEST² Tunisia | Young Researchers Changing the World
For one inspiring week, Tunisia became a global hub of creativity, discovery and scientific excellence as it hosted another outstanding edition of the International Festival of Engineering Science and Technology (IFEST²).
Organised by the Tunisian Association for the Future of Science and Technology (ATAST), a proud member of MILSET Africa, IFEST² continues to stand as one of the region's leading international science competitions, empowering young researchers to present bold ideas, exchange knowledge and build lifelong international connections.
This year's edition welcomed delegations from Thailand, Algeria, Portugal, Belgium, France, Brazil, Spain, Georgia, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Jordan, Romania, Mexico, Argentina, South Korea, and many other countries, creating a truly global celebration of science. The diversity of cultures, perspectives and innovative thinking transformed IFEST² into a vibrant meeting point where collaboration crossed borders and friendships were built through a shared passion for research.
Throughout the week, participants showcased exceptional projects across engineering, science and technology, addressing real-world challenges with creativity, critical thinking and scientific rigour. Beyond the competition, IFEST² offered an enriching programme of cultural exchange and networking, reinforcing the belief that science has the power to unite young people from every corner of the world.
